To celebrate World Photography Day on August 19th, Birmingham based Branding Agency Orb launched a photography competition. The premise of the competition was to capture the essence of Birmingham in 10 photos.
There were 1,000 stunning photos submitted, each with a unique story. Judging took place last month with the winning photographer receiving £1,000 worth of photography equipment and the chance to work on a commercial shoot with former Sony World Photographer of the Year Martin Brent.
We’ve teamed up with Orb and one of the judges, Verity Milligan, to display a selection of the photographs at Urban Coffee Company on Church Street.
